January 19th, 2024 at 5 pm- Cocktail Party
Jaco, Costa Rica - Mirador at Villa Caletas
Enjoy an evening of sweeping golden sunset overlooking the gorgeous beaches of the Jaco coast in the lush jungle of Costa Rica at the Mirador. We will gather for intimate conversation and toasts, in cocktail attire. Cocktails, beverages, and dinner buffet provided.
January 20th, 2024 at 5 pm - Wedding Ceremony & Reception
Jaco, Costa Rica - the Zephyr Palace
We will have an evening ceremony and reception at the Zephyr Palace including a lovely dinner at the banquet hall. Please bring your best wedding attire as the sun sets behind the Roman columns around the infinity pool overlooking the beach. Music, a lavish dinner, cocktails, and drinks will be provided.
TRAVEL - HOW TO GET TO COSTA RICA
The event is at Villa Caletas, just north of Jaco, Costa Rica. The closest airport is Juan Santamaría International Airport (SJO) in the main city of San Jose. There are direct flights from LAX. It’s about a 2-hour drive or shuttle from SJO to Villa Caletas and Jaco because people drive very slowly and there are always trucks blocking the lanes. Pura Vida.
If you are staying at Villa Caletas they can arrange a shuttle to pick you up (for $134 + $11 per person). I recommend getting an Uber, should be about $100 for a full car. If you have a group you may wish to rent a car to see the many beautiful sights and go on nearby adventures. If you do rent a car, please get the full insurance option as the roads around are rugged and outdoorsy.

ACCOMMODATIONS - WHERE TO STAY
The Villa Caletas location itself is an absolutely stunning self-contained beach resort, with restaurants (breakfast is included with the rooms). Rooms range from $250-350+ per night.
IMPORTANT: All of the rooms are booked for us, so you CANNOT book a room there from their website. The only way to get a room is to reach out to our wedding planner, Michael. He will get you 15% off and set you up with a perfect place. Thank you!

The resort includes a private beach, pools, gym, yoga, and vista views of the sea. We will be serving dinner at both the cocktail party Friday and the Wedding Saturday.
Alternatively, you can stay anywhere nearby. We will be close to Jaco.
Airbnb has some epic spaces available, the nearest town is Jaco, about 10 min drive South from Villa Caletas. Jaco has some great food and wild nightlife, a bit of a party town, which may not be the perfect fit for some people’s taste. Rooms range from modest accommodations under $100/night to lavish small palaces - whatever suits your taste.

ITINERARY
Friday January 19th, 2024 at 5 pm - 11pm Cocktail Party
Jaco, Costa Rica - Mirador at Villa Caletas
Enjoy an evening of sweeping golden sunset overlooking the gorgeous beaches of the Jaco coast in the lush jungle of Costa Rica at the Mirador. We will gather for intimate conversation and toasts, in cocktail attire. Cocktails, beverages, and dinner buffet provided.
The cocktail party is at the main Villa Caletas space. Parking is limited but possible for people not staying there. If you’re staying there, you can’t miss it. Enjoy some dinner buffet and drinks. We will all be hanging out and having fun! There’s no itinerary for this event.
Saturday January 20th, 2024 at 5 pm - 12am Wedding Ceremony & Reception

If you’re at Villa Caletas, they will shuttle you to the palace, or it’s a 5-minute walk. Here’s the itinerary:
5:00 pm ceremony begins, so please arrive a little early.
5:30 pm ceremony ends. Time to hang out and enjoy conversation and some drinks. Photography
6:30 pm start seating for dinner
7:00 pm dinner and very short speeches
8:30 pm dinner ends. First dance and party begins!
12:00 am party ends! Go get some sleep.
